Welcome to That Yarn Store

That Yarn Store

Welcome to That Yarn Store – an ongoing evolution of quality retail since 1989. Begun with knitting machines (with hand work on the side) in the Tri Valley and a brief 6-year stint to the East Bay. The move back "home" in 2006 was a great time to refocus, change name and relish in all the new fibers. A spacious, well lit local-focus store for knitting, crochet, machine knitting and spinning has been well received in Dublin.

This website is intended to keep you up to date between your visits into the store, enjoy.

WHAT’S NEW

Never knit or crochet before? Learn the basics in a three class series. New project classes in January and February have been added.

New yarns are here. Landaloft from Brown Sheep is a bulky yarn that is 100% wool. Autumn by KFI is an acrylic, cotton, and polyester yarn with large beads and leaves.

Besides Fuzzy Fridays, another group day has been included called Create for Kids, for ages 0 – 14 years on Thursdays, 11:00 am on. You may work on your project or try one of our new presentations every month – from a commercial pattern, sometimes with variations, or an original pattern. TYS will skip around in this wide age range to keep everyone's interest.
